Walnut Hills Donut Shop Announces Closure

Hoity Toity opened on Gilbert Avenue this past September.

A Walnut Hills donut shop that just opened last fall will be closing permanently. Hoity Toity Donut made the announcement on social media Friday.

“It is with a heavy heart that we announce Hoity Toity Donut will be closing. It was a wild ride in such a short period of time!” the shop wrote on Facebook.

The bakery, helmed by Cincinnati native Susan Coach, opened on Gilbert Avenue in mid-September. Its menu featured elevated, gourmet donuts made with locally sourced ingredients in small batches. Coach shared she would be closing the shop for personal reasons.

“We have been so [grateful]/appreciative for the huge support and love that our community has showed, as well as travelers from afar. We wanted to do so much more, but due to personal reasons the difficult decision to close had to be made."
