The beer will soon be flowing in downtown Cincinnati as the largest Oktoberfest celebration outside Munich returns this month. And organizers are sharing exactly what kind of brews will be filling everyone’s steins with the release of Oktoberfest Zinzinnati’s Official Beer Guide.

The 48th annual Oktoberfest Zinzinnati will host 25 breweries representing local, regional, national and German beer brands, in addition to the festival’s own traditional brews. Offerings include a variety of German-style beers, like hefeweizens, pilsners, dunkels, märzens, festbiers and lagers.

Festivalgoers can find the Official Beer Guide, which lists the breweries, their offerings, costs per serving and ABV% of each beer type here. The guide also includes a festival map with each vendor’s location to help visitors plan their course through the festival grounds.

“While visitors will enjoy a different experience at Oktoberfest Zinzinnati this year with it being in a new location, they will also enjoy all the traditional German-style beers that are the hallmark of the festival. This year, guests can use the guide to easily locate their favorite brews or try out new ones. We guarantee there’s a brew for every taste!” Chelsea York, Cincinnati Chamber’s vice president of events and experiences, said in a press release.

Samuel Adams is Oktoberfest’s presenting sponsor and will offer its Oktoberfest beer at several booths throughout the festival, as well as in the Samuel Adams Beer Garden. Traditional German breweries, including Krombacher, Radeberger and Weihenstephan, will serve traditional beers.

Sixteen Greater Cincinnati breweries will also be present, including:

  • Rhinegeist Brewery
  • MadTree Brewing
  • Braxton Brewing
  • Fifty West Brewing Company
  • West Side Brewing
  • Fretboard Brewing Company
  • Urban Artifact
  • Grainworks Brewing Company
  • Sonder Brewing

Along with “die Biere,” Jägermeister will be the official shot of Oktoberfest; there will also be wine, hard seltzers, pop and water, as well as NA beers on tap, like Clausthaler Non-Alcoholic and Bitburger Drive, for sale.

Oktoberfest Zinzinnati will take place at its new home in Sawyer Point and Yeatman’s Cove Thursday-Sunday, Sept. 19-22. For more information, visit oktoberfestzinzinnati.com.
