A new fast-casual Mexican fusion restaurant is now open in Oakley.

Bubbakoo’s Burritos officially opened Wednesday at 3694 Madison Road. The franchise is owned by Alex Patel, who also owns the Bubbakoo’s Burritos in Eastgate, which opened last summer.

“Bubbakoo’s has built a large following in Ohio over the years, and there has been a clear demand for our food in Cincinnati,” Patel said in a press release. “I’m proud to bring our unique flavors and iconic atmosphere to the area and to continue growing the Bubbakoo’s fan base across the state.”

The Mexican fusion chain features a menu of unique and customizable burritos, bowls, tacos, quesadillas, nachos, tostada salads and “Chiwawas,” a lightly fried panko-crusted cheesy rice ball smothered in queso. Guests can also try the hand-tossed wings, curly fries and, for dessert, a range of treats that call back to the chain’s roots in the Jersey Shore, including deep-fried Oreos and flour tortillas dusted with sweetness.

“Our new restaurant in Cincinnati builds upon our fantastic existing presence across Ohio, which is one that we’re very proud of,” Bill Hart, co-founder of Bubbakoo’s Burritos, said in the release. “We have more than a dozen locations in the state, which is a testament to the local community's love for our concept. We’re so happy to see Alex and his family continue to grow with us.”

Bubbakoo’s Burritos in Oakley is open daily from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m.
