Cincinnati Restaurant Week just got even better as Hard Rock Casino Cincinnati announced Tuesday that its two restaurants will be taking part this year, and they’re also adding a little extra incentive to dine with them.
Restaurant Week returns Monday-Sunday, Sept. 23-29 with participating restaurants offering $26, $36, $46 and now $56 three-course prix fixe menus. Over 70 restaurants will be participating, now including the Hard Rock’s steakhouse, Council Oak Steaks & Seafood, and Cantonese-inspired restaurant, YouYu.
Council Oak will be offering a $56 dinner with the first course offering a choice of the Council Oak Caesar Salad, Council Oak Bacon salad or the jumbo shrimp cocktail. The second course is a choice between the smoked Australian Wagyu beef ribs, roasted chicken breast or salmon. Finally, for dessert, you’ll receive the flourless peanut butter mousse cake.
YouYu will also offer a $56 dinner. The first course will offer the choice of crab rangoon, glass noodle salad or grilled octopus. The second course features Bo Luc Lac (jalapeño, oyster sauce and fried egg), Peking duck breast and Korean sticky ribs. And dessert is the Fortune Cookie, served with white mousse, passionfruit gel and fresh raspberries.
And guests who order the Restaurant Week menu at Council Oak or YouYu between Sept. 23-28 will receive two complimentary tickets to see the Black Crowes, who will be performing at Hard Rock Casino’s outdoor venue on Saturday, Sept. 28. However, a limited number of Black Crowes tickets will be available, and attendees must be 21 or older to enter the outdoor concert venue.
During Restaurant Week, $1 from every meal special served will go toward Cincinnati Children’s Hospital, and organizers will match the first 1,000 meals served by donating $1 per meal. Funds go toward families whose insurance doesn’t cover the cost of treatments, research and growing in-demand programs. Restaurant Week has raised more than $100,000 in the last six years to support these initiatives.
To prepare for Restaurant Week, you can download the official app. The app will allow you to plan your meals and check in to participating restaurants and track your meals to earn you points. The more you eat, the more points you earn. You’ll also earn extra points if you try a restaurant’s drink special. And if you earn enough points, you may just win a grand prize.
