Throughout the month of October, Fairfield County is bringing the Trail of Scarecrows, featuring 200 handcrafted scarecrows along the streets of local communities, each dressed to impress to represent a variety of careers as a part of their occupation-themed trail.
With the Fairfield County App, visitors can make their way through the trail at their own pace with a digital map, check in at various scarecrows for a chance to win prizes and can even cast their vote for their favorite scarecrow.
