A festival celebrating nature, community and marijuana is coming to southern Ohio this July.
The Stargazer Cannabis Festival will take place at the Wisteria Event Center in Pomeroy, Ohio (about two-and-a-half hours from Cincinnati) Friday-Sunday, July 26-28. The three-day-long event offers camping, live music and, of course, plenty of weed.
Festival organizers say attendees can also enjoy a farmers market and nature- and weed-related activities all weekend long. The festival will be located on over 80 acres of land with features like nature trails, a spring-fed pond and sacred sites. Attendees can take part in workshops on topics ranging from home-grow, cannabis cooking and the latest legalization information and enjoy music from Reddy Redd, Matt Keegan, theJackofHearts and the Andy Shaw Band. A drum circle and artistic bonfire will kick off the festivities Friday night.
Stargazer will also feature a scavenger hunt and joint-rolling competition, where competitors can either roll old-school in the Classic Division or get creative in the Artistic Division.
Three-day general admission tickets are $80, or you can camp in a car far $130 or RV for $180. Buy tickets here.
