Newport Aquarium is going through a GLOW-up this fall with an all-new immersive experience to celebrate its 25th anniversary.

Underwater Pumpkin GLOW will launch at the aquarium on Sept. 16 and runs through Nov. 3. The one-of-a-kind, under-the-sea adventure features larger-than-life sculptures of some of the aquarium’s animals reimagined as pumpkins.

“We’ve been working for years with designers, artists and animal experts to create something the Cincy region has never seen before,” Rebecca Foster, Newport Aquarium’s executive director, said in a press release. “We all love fall and now our guests are going to get to experience it in an underwater world. I can’t wait to see how much fun the kids and animals have exploring it.”

These sculptures include giant, selfie-ready pumpkin versions of fish, seahorses and a sea turtle, which can be found throughout the exhibits. Other attractions include a giant, glowing underwater octopus that will double as an artificial reef for fish and sharks; an underwater pumpkin patch; music and dramatic, glowing lighting throughout the aquarium; and divers doing underwater pumpkin carving.

Underwater Pumpkin GLOW is included with general admission.
