Hamilton County, Ohio, residents can get half-price admission to the Cincinnati Zoo & Botanical Garden this weekend.

The zoo says it’s hosting Hamilton County Appreciation Days Friday-Sunday, Aug. 23-25 as a thank-you to the county, its residents and their continued support. The discount also aims to make the zoo more accessible to everyone this weekend.

“We appreciate the support that we receive from Hamilton County residents and are happy to offer deeply discounted tickets as a ‘thank you' for that,” Cincinnati Zoo director Thane Maynard said in a press release. “The zoo is for everyone, and we want to make it easier for everyone to get inspired by wildlife.”

Tickets for Hamilton County Appreciation Days can be purchased in advance online here. Adult tickets are $15; child and senior admission are $12. You will also have to present a valid Hamilton County photo ID upon entry to the zoo.

As for what to see when you get there, the zoo says there are some can't-miss attractions, including the famous Fiona and family at Hippo Cove, the Cheetah Encounter, Barnyard Bonanza and the Ameritas Wings of Wonder — get there early to see Bob the bird trainer in action, says the zoo.

The zoo is open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. every day.
