The College Hill Community Urban Redevelopment Corporation is inviting Cincinnati to crack open a cold one for a night of music, games and, of course, beer.

College Hill's Third Thursday Biergartens kick off on June 20 from 6-9 p.m. As the name would suggest, the block party will recur on the third Thursday of every month this summer: July 18, Aug. 15, and Sept. 19.*

Established as a means of bringing the community together during the summer months, Third Thursday Biergartens are open not only to College Hill citizens but also to people from all over the city.

“It’s just a great time for people to socialize with people maybe that they already know, or that they can meet there; people that they usually wouldn’t come into contact with,” said CHCURC Community and Economic Development Coordinator Brianne Brenneman.

Rhinegeist, Sam Adams and Angry Orchard Cider will be available for $1-$5, and College Hill Library is providing crafts for children and the children-at-heart. Additional activities include yard games like large Jenga and cornhole.

The event takes place in the alley between Tortilleria Garcia and Red Rose pizzeria at 5917 Hamilton Ave. Find more event info here.
