The main arts performance venue downtown. The Aronoff Center is home to touring Broadway shows brought in by Broadway Across America as well as a number of local arts organizations: Cincinnati BalletCincinnati Music Theatre, Cincinnati Playwrights Initiative (readings of original works by local playwrights, Ballet Tech Cincinnati, Contemporary Dance Theater and World Piano Competition, which features the country’s best young pianists in a culminating concert. The Cincinnati Arts Association manages the Aronoff Center, Music Hall and Memorial Hall and also produces its own events, mostly at the Aronoff Center. CAA regularly hosts comedy shows, music concerts, touring children’s productions, touring dance companies and more.
