Sarah Center

 The Sarah Center, an outreach ministry of St. Francis Church in Over-the-Rhine, empowers local woman who come looking to improve themselves and their quality of life. “Helping Women Help Themselves” is their motto. Women participate in free jewelry and quilting classes and then sell their items through Sarah Center. 60% to 90% of the income from sales goes back to the artist and the remaining percentage is used to cover the cost of supplies and materials needed to keep the center running.  In this way, the program works as a supplemental income program to support those who are economically challenged.
