Floyd “Freshdaily” Johnson is a ubiquitous man in Cincinnati’s party scene. He’s the networker, the guy with the nickname who knows what’s going on every night of the week. Floyd supports any and all events, from art openings to house parties and shows at Northside Tavern to events at downtown nightclubs.

More than 4,200 “Change Is Coming” parties were held Dec. 13 and 14 across the United States, including Guam and Puerto Rico. They included about 10 held in Cincinnati neighborhoods.

It looks like the auto bailout plan is in big trouble, and The Los Angeles Times reported today that there is one group of people mainly to blame: the greedy workers who make American cars.

Statement of fact: Cincinnati Zoo = Good, Creation Museum = Evil. Let's be clear: It's evident to anyone with a brain that the Creation Museum is a horrible joke told by some seriously unfunny people, and the Cincinnati Zoo is a place of happiness, truth and light.

Election Day approaches, and Tristate residents once again have multi-page ballots to consider. Who has time to fully research every issue and candidate, especially when ballots are getting longer, not shorter? A lot of nonprofit organizations do.

In any situation, whether buying coffee or talking with a stranger, it's fun to spin a brief moment in your head. Inspiration for portraits can't really come from anywhere else but the person you're photographing. Otherwise, you're not trying to portray that person.

No surprise, but journalism ain't what it used to be, and we're paying the price for it. Maybe you don't care, don't think you should or wonder why it even matters. Thanks to the general apathy of the American public, you're probably right.
