I recently had the opportunity to have lunch at Cincinnati COOKS!, a kitchen in an old building on Ezzard Charles Drive across from a vacant lot. No, it's not the scene you get at most restaurants in Cincinnati, but this building has a thousand times more soul and spirit than all of them put together.

"(Touring) again in America is actually quite refreshing," Harris said says in a recent phone interview. "You go back to basics again. You get reminded what it was like starting off in the U.K. And so that's exciting. "Obviously the rooms are smaller and the crowds are smaller, but it makes no difference," he continues.

James Flynn’s film directorial debut, Eastern College, tells the story of a small group of recent college gradu ates who are about to go their separate ways. Shot on location at Flynn’s alma mater, Miami University, Eastern College manages to avoid the clichés of many college set coming-of-age come dies, putting a personal spin on a well-worn genre.

with a few of them, like ‘Flame,’ our sort of Disco number. If I’m honest, I think our strongest stuff is the moanier, wrenching stuff, but we wanted to get beyond that and do joy, because we’ve never really done joy before, convincingly. For us, it’s really hard and we’re very inspired by bands like The Flaming Lips, who do it so well.
