Episcopal Community Services Foundation’s BikeFest is more than a charity ride; it offers riders from a variety of athletic backgrounds — both serious and occasional riders — the opportunity to learn about and engage with the local charities they’re serving.   

New CD from StarDevils, Lauren Houston

Local Rockabilly/Honky Tonk faves StarDevils have a new CD out. StarDevils Trio was released in September and has drawn high praise from the international Rockabilly press. And area singer/songwriter Lauren Houston also has a new CD available. The Northern Kentucky resident will celebrate the release of her debut — the gorgeous Folk/Pop/Country gem, Roots & Wings

A benefit for the family of the late singer/songwriter Katie Reider takes place Saturday at Dirty Jack's in Elmwood Place. The event also serves as a celebration of Katie's life and music starting at 8 p.m. and is hosted by Debra Randall, the show's organizer and a WAIF radio personality. The musical lineup includes Jen Foster, Jayne Sachs Band, Whitney Barriclow, The Blue Umbrellas, Frozen Feet, Holly Spears and Chakras.
