This dramatic look at the end of the Pacific efforts of World War II from director Peter Webber (Hannibal Rising)
focuses on General Bonner Fellers (Matthew Fox) as he’s charged with
deciding the fate of the Japanese emperor — whether or not he should be
executed as a war criminal — while attempting to find an exchange
student he met in the US.
David Frankel (The Devil Wears Prada) reunites with Meryl Streep in Hope Springs,
the story of a couple (Streep and Tommy Lee Jones), married for 30
years, who decide to attend a week-long marriage counseling program with
a renowned therapist (Steve Carell) in order to renew their spark.

enacting stupid and ineffective procedures like making inmates wear pink
and broil in the Arizona heat while doing their time. Today, in a bit
of role reversal, Arpaio was in court.
Veteran documentary filmmaker Kevin Rafferty looks back to his own undergrad days at Harvard in this surprisingly tepid reexamination of a 40-year-old football game. The director interviews 37 players, nearly all of whom recall the "landmark" game with a mix of nostalgia and regret, depending on which side of the ball they resided. Grade: C.
