On July 27, local Indie Pop crew Enlou released its new EP, Body of Friends, Body of Water, via Lujo Records. The band’s first local show since the release is Friday at Northside Tavern. Body of Friends, Body of Water (the group's third EP in just over a year) is a magical listening experience and contains some of the finest, most mesmerizing Indie Pop you'll hear this year, local or otherwise.

Gone not that long, local band returns to Rock & Roll action

In the next month or so, The Long Gones will re-enter the studio and take the first step in a process to further their resurgence. But first they join The Customs (whose notorious hit "Long Gone" gave the band its name) and The Cynics for a record release party Friday to celebrate Get Hip Records' vinyl reissue of the band's anthological CD from Shake It Records (with two bonus cuts). What's next after that is known only to them.
