Tonight at MOTR Pub in Over-the-Rhine, relative local newcomers Homemade Drugs begin their June House Band residency, which has them performing free shows every Monday this month. Homemade Drugs is the trio of Brian McCabe, Chris Patoka and Tyler Stacey, who collectively make a trippy and engaging Pscyh Rock noise with an Experimental Pop bent and ragged Shoegaze glaze. Check out the band's seven-song LP release here. And enjoy the lead-off track "Schizophrenic Cat" below.Homemade Drugs LP by Homemade Drugs• Another free Fountain Square summer music series kicks off tonight. The 4EG Happy Hour night will feature live music from area cover bands and also DJ performances every Monday through Aug. 27. Each night will spotlight a different bar in the 4EG family of local venues, of which there are many (The Sandbar, Pavilion, Righteous Room and tonight's featured bar, Keystone, for example). Tonight's featured act is Naked Karate Girls. The featured bar hosts the afterparty each week. The Aug. 27th happy hour's featured bar will be a new 4EG venue downtown on Sixth Street, the company's tenth establishment in the area. • Much maligned Pop singer Michael Bolton rocks the Fraze Pavilion in Kettering tonight. Tickets are $25-$40 and showtime is 7:30 p.m. You think he'll do "Jack Sparrow," his best song yet, tonight?
