A Disappearing Man: Book Lecture & Signing with Doug Peterson

 The historical novel A Disappearing Man, was inspired by a slave who escaped slavery by shipping himself in a wooden box. The book is a moving tale that shows just how far people will go to seek freedom. Peterson will be at the National Underground Railroad Freedom Center to share the story of Henry "Box" Brown and sign copies of his new book.
