Re-Fashioned: Upcycled Garment Design and Construction

 Explore the process of garment based sewing by developing a vocabulary of machine and hand sewing techniques. You will be sourcing textiles from a variety of waste streams, such as thrift stores, yard sales and digging through your own closets to create something new out of something old. Plan and sketch designs before embarking on a true upcycling adventure. Saturdays October 27 - December 8. (no class November 24).
