Learn how to use photographs to make better paintings and drawings without letting them become a crutch. Artists have successfully used photographs since the invention of photography (it's not cheating!) However, there are many pitfalls to be avoided. Learn how to use photos as a source material, as a handy "sketchbook" and how to use your camera to take the best pictures for your purpose. Thursdays October 25 - December 6. (No class November 22).
