The Rake's Progress

Martin Brennan
8 p.m., Thursday May 10 | $27-$29, $17-$19 students

CCM presents The Rake's Progress. Stravinsky’s intriguing tale depicts the decline and fall of young Tom Rakewell who leaves home and Anne Trulove for the temptations of the city. In the company of Nick Shadow, Tom squanders his fortune and ends in “Bedlam” as the story’s moral concludes: “for idle hearts and hands and minds the Devil finds a work to do.”
