Art Deco: Fashion and Design in the Jazz Age

The Cincinnati Art Museum begins its 2011-2012 exhibit schedule with Art Deco: Fashion and Design in the Jazz Age, curated by Cynthia Amneus. The exhibit features The Betty Colker Collection of 1920's gowns including evening and day dresses embellished with art deco design elements such as bold architectural, geometric and linear designs in beading, sequins and embroidery. The beauty of these gowns will be complemented with decorative pieces from the Cincinnati Art Museum's permanent collection. Through Jan. 1 2012.

The Cincinnati Wing features influential local and regional artists. Traveling and changing exhibitions are popular attractions and often require a separate entrance fee. Otherwise, museum admission is free.
