In the age of digital books, we sometimes forget the tactile joy of a real one. Every year the Public Library of Cincinnati and Hamilton County reminds readers not only of the transformative power of books but also how books themselves can be transformed into art through two exhibits: Bookworks and the Keith Kuhn Memorial Exhibit.
Artist walk-throughs of Bookworks occur at 2 p.m. Sunday, June 22 and Sunday, Aug. 3. There is also a hands-on bookmaking demonstration at 2 p.m. Sunday, July 27.
The main branch of the Cincinnati Public Library system aims to connect poeple with the world of ideas and information through excelling in customer service, being a first choice for information, anticipating changing needs, assuring access to the Library's resources and services and being a dynamic force in the community.
