DAAP Galleries introduce a show that explores traditional craft techniques applied in a DIY fashion. Located in the Dorothy W. and C. Lawson Reed, Jr. Gallery, Indiependent will showcase artists who work to offer consumers a sidestep to the "big box stores", considering issues of consumer culture, sustainability, and creative practice when crafting their work. The show will run through Dec. 10.
