 Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra brings you a very special weekend, pulling out all the stops to welcome their new music director to the stage for the 2013-14 season. Louis Langrée will conduct three days worth of concerts featuring the eigth blackbird ensemble, a performance of Beethoven's Symphony No.5, as well as a performance of Copland's Lincoln Portrait, featuring live narration by award-winning author, poet, civil rights activist, and playwright Dr. Maya Angelou. It's a perfect, unforgettable precursor to a season that promises similar results.
