Two artists join in the celebration of groundbreaking naturalist Alfred Russel Wallace, displaying work which showcases an appreciation for the natural processing of life, death, and the stages in between. Aaron Kent brings his "bone-form" sculptures to display, contrasting with co-conspirator Jeremy Johnson's taxidermy work, to create a unique brand and blend of contemporary and classic. The show questions and comments on the philosophy of nature and man's relationship with the natural environment. Mixed media and installation pieces will also be included, as well as a special lecture/demonstration from Johnson on Nov. 8 at 7 p.m.
The exhibit continues through Dec. 7.
