Ensemble Theatre Cincinnati brings to the stage a tour de force of the modern perception and the comedic proportion. From Pulitzer Prize finalist Gina Gionfriddo comes Rapture, Blister, Burn - a new play that focuses on the interwoven story of two women in the middle of their lives. As these characters try to come to terms with the decisions they've made and the paths they've chosen, Gionfriddo takes us through a bevvy of post feminism topics, taking on everything from the career versus family debate, to society's acceptance and consumption of pornography, all the while keeping her lens honed in on comedic and innovative expression.

Through Oct. 27.
