Zohair Hussain
Gallery Hours: 8 a.m.-9 p.m. Monday-Thursday, 8 a.m.-7 p.m. Friday, 10 a.m.-7 p.m. Saturday,11 a.m.-9 p.m. Sunday. Through Dec. 27. , Monday November 11

The Iris BookCafe and Gallery space presents a new exhibition of color photography that explores the artists vision of a declining, American Landscape. Creating images that “ mediate between the idyllic and the apocalyptic”, photographer John Ganis creates a vivid portfolio of our surrounding landscapes. Currently a Professor at the College for Creative Studies in Detroit, where he’s been working since 1980, Ganis’ projects have always spread far and wide across the spectrum of venues and collaborative environments. This exhibit promises to bring some of that same sort of energy to the gallery space.
