The Good Doctor

Holly Rouse
7:30 p.m. Thursday-Friday. 2 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. Saturday. 2 p.m. Sunday., Thursday March 20 | $10-$15

See a Broadway hit about love and the meaning of life, as the School for Creative & Performing Arts performs The Good Doctor.  Director David Roth brings the Neil Simon classic to life, with the talents of the students of SCPA. The excitement and variety you’ve come to expect from the many classics of Neil Simon, such as The Odd Couple, Rumors, and Broadway Bound, are all here and will leave audiences crying with laughter throughout the show. The Good Doctor is a collection of scenes written in the style of Chekhovian comedy, whose one connecting thread is the character of “The Writer” – a character that Simon hints is actually Anton Chekov. The show carries both light and dark moments, and ranges from tales of love, to plots about the meaning of becoming a man.
