Tyler Shields' Suspense

Holly Rouse
10 a.m.-5:30 p.m. Tuesday-Saturday. Or by appointment., Tuesday June 04 | Free.

Tyler Shields' new series of photographs is his most cinematic yet. As you experience these images, you can't help but hold your breath, or puzzle over how each image was achieved.  Always live action in real time, and without any type of manipulation of any kind--ever, the series is driven by the enigmatic concept of "Suspense.".  The photographs were shot on location in California, New Mexico, Illinois and Ohio. The Cincinnati show, part of a world tour, will feature more than 30 dramatic new images.
