The Overture Awards Next Pop Star Competition

 The Next Pop Star Competition helps to find talented High School Students in the Tri-state area. Applicants must turn in an application to participate on a first come first serve basis. There will be 25 dancers and 25 singers allowed in the competition, a keyboard and CD player will be provided. The winners of both the singing and dancing competitions will receive $300 respectively. The three runner ups will receive $100.

The main arts performance venue downtown is home to touring Broadway shows as well as a number of local arts organizations, from Cincinnati Ballet to Cincinnati Playwrights Initiative. The Cincinnati Arts Association manages the Aronoff Center, Music Hall and Memorial Hall and also produces its own comedy shows, music concerts, touring children’s productions, touring dance companies and other events, mostly at the Aronoff Center.
