Harlan Hubbard: The Complexity of Simplicity
Influenced by the principles of Thoreau, local Kentucky resident, Harlan Hubbard, chose to focus on the beauty and simplicity of nature and spends his days living off the land and creating art. In his paintings, woodcuts and journals, Hubbard's quiet wonder and reverence for nature are always present and often depict landscapes, riverboats and other natural scenes.
