Featured Speaker Wes Cowan on Thursday, and a Saturday Auction
CINCINNATI, OH -- March 1, 2013: The American Historical Print Collectors Society (AHPCS) holds its annual meeting in a different city almost every year -- and 2013 is Cincinnati's turn. The AHPCS annual meeting will be held from May 15-18, and its headquarters will be in the Hilton Netherland Plaza in downtown Cincinnati.
Noted national and local speakers -- including Wes Cowan, appraiser on television for 15 years and owner of Cowan's Auctions, as well as experts from the University of Cincinnati, the Cincinnati Public Library, and the Cincinnati Art Museum -- will present throughout the weekend. Visits to the Cincinnati Museum Center's history museum, the Mercantile Library, the Lloyd Library (a downtown research center devoted to the scientific arts), and the Cincinnati Art Museum are planned.
The event concludes with a print auction at the Netherland Plaza.
