Patti Smith: The Coral Sea

Keith Bowers
8-10 p.m., Friday May 17 | $7.50. $5.50 Students & Seniors. Free for members and children under 5.

This exhibit is part homage to Robert Mapplethorpe, part rumination on art, death and rebirth. Smith conceived of the multi-installation show as a progression from the white Infirmary to the stark black The Coral Sea Room. The exhibition also includes a one-time live performance by Smith and her daughter, Jesse Paris Smith at the opening reception.
