Morehouse College Glee Club and Quartet

  The Glee Club and Vocal Quartet from Morehouse College in Atlanta, whose voices have serenaded Olympians and Presidents, will make their biennial appearance in Cincinnati.  The program will benefit the Lewis Danforth Scholarship Fund.    These concerts have become a popular local tradition in a city that loves choirs and vocal music.  

 

The Morehouse Glee Club is composed of over 60 students from a variety of majors at the college.  The Glee Club has been performing regularly now for over one hundred years.  They have toured Russia and South Africa, and have been featured at both the opening and closing ceremonies of the Olympic Games.   These  World Renowned Ensembles are led by a University of Cincinnati Graduate.
