  This debut young adult novel is about a teen Nightmare.   Only in The Nightmare Affair, this 16-year-old is an actual Nightmare.   Dusty Everhart enters into houses late at night, but not because she’s a criminal.   No, she’s a Nightmare.   Literally.   Nightmares are magickind who must eat the stuff dreams are made ofcalled fictus.   Dusty has to dream feed to live.   When she sneaks into Eli Booker’s house and invades his dreams, she gets into a lot more trouble than she imagined.
