The Cincinnati Chamber Orchestra (CCO) will celebrate four decades of unique music-making at Applause!, the CCO’s annual gala. The event will honor two Cincinnatians from different generations – Pinnacle Award recipient David Herriman and our inaugural Rising Star Ainsley Kellar – for their past and continuing contributions to the arts. The soiree promises to be an evocation of New York’s glamorous cabarets and nightclubs. Red is the color of the evening, and guests are encouraged to dress appropriately.
evening will begin in the Netherland’s
Hall of Mirrors where guests will toast the Chamber Orchestra at an
elegant cocktail reception. The celebration continues as guests make their way
to the Pavilion Ballroom to
enjoy dinner. Dessert
will be accompanied by a star-studded performance featuring two University of
Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music alums and Broadway veterans: Tony Award winner Faith Prince and L. A. Drama Critic’s Circle Award
winner Jason Graae. The duo will perform excerpts from their
critically-acclaimed 2012 New York revue, The Prince and the Showboy.
