Empire Falling

 This exhibit will feature large-scale images from Elena Dorfman's Empire Falling series, with an essay by noted art historian and writer, Kevin Moore. This photographic project documents abandoned, working and repurposed rock quarries in the American Midwest. The images comprise a book of the same name, with spreads of the details that make up each complex creation. A reception and book signing will occur on April 20.
