Queen City Babywearers: A Play Gathering for Babywearing Parents

Emmi MacIntyre
11 a.m.-1 p.m., Wednesday February 27 | Free.

BabyWearing not only promotes an intimate connection between parent and baby, it is one of the most important factors in the healthy social, motor, and intellectual development of infants. BabyWearing allows parents the freedom to go about their normal daily routine while allowing their child to be at the center of activity not the center of attention, providing the physical and psychological benefits of a sense of security, emotional contentment, and the building of a solid sense of self-esteem. If you enjoy Babywearing and would like to socialize with other parents who do, as well, bring your favorite wraps and carriers to share with others at this drop-in style play group.
