Natural Forces

Emmi MacIntyre
Feb. 16, 8 p.m.; Feb. 17, 2 p.m., Saturday February 16 | $3.
The junior and senior students of the Wright State University Dance Program will once again be presenting a concert of exciting world-premiere choreography.  Entitled Natural Forces, the program features the exhilarating new student choreographic work.

The title Natural Forces implies the presence of a force inside each dancer that does not allow them to live life to the fullest without including dance in their lives. These emerging choreographers do not just want to be artists; they need to be! There is also something very natural about coming up with your own choreography and listening to your instincts. It is such an exciting and interesting way to explore your own creativity. There is also the natural force that is causing the juniors to become seniors and the seniors to become whatever they want to be when they grow up after graduation. Each junior and senior expresses such excitement and apprehension in her own individual artistry and style, which will create an extremely versatile and engaging concert.
