The HFSO David L. Belew American Master Concert

Emmi MacIntyre
7:30 p.m., Saturday February 23 | $5-$10.

A  true travelogue of great American music infuses the Hamilton-Fairfield Symphony American Masters concert, featuring the music of Michael Daugherty.  Just one concert ticket engages the concertgoer on a visit to the Blue Ridge Mountains, Los Vegas, Route 66, the Shenandoah Valley, and Mount Rushmore.
This is family friendly music, and much more cost effective than a road trip!    Following the tradition of so many great composers who have come to Hamilton, Mr. Daugherty will be present for the concert.

Michael Daugherty is one of the most sought after composers on the scene today, and won three Grammy awards two years ago for the Nashville Symphony recording of his "Metropolis" Symphony, based on the life of Superman.      He serves as head of the Music Composition Department at the University of Michigan, in Ann Arbor.
