Christian Moerlein's p3 (Peaty Pepper Porter) - This one is pretty special. Richard Dube, Brewmaster of the Moerlein Lager House brewed this up exclusive for us and this event. We have a 1/4 barrel and once it's gone, it's gone. We will leave the description in his words. "I blended 75/25 of our Peat Oui-Eve Scottish Ale Wee-Heavy with Embrees' Baltic Porter, brewed at the Lager House and infused it with 3 types of roasted peppers (Anaheim, Serrano, Poblano). This unique and special offering is therefore a "Peaty Pepper Porter" (P3 for short)  that can be described as: Medium-full body Ale, with a hint of peat and dark fruits in the nose. Peppers are definitely recognizable in the aroma, and although relatively mild, the heat (spiciness) from the peppers will linger to balance the sweet caramel notes.
