It's a bird. It's a plane. It's Kite Fest! Soaring through 330 acres of open air is one of kids' favorite pastimes. Shapes of dogs, cats, penguins, ducks and many other animals will float through the air in the celebration of kites. The warm April sky will be filled with bold colors, graceful figures and great music. There will be a parachute run, a kite-building workshop, Cincinnati Zoo Animals and other kids events.  

The Sausage Queen reigns! Friday's Bockfest parade will be the official beginning marker of a festive celebration filled with goats and beer. Starting at Arnold's Bar & Grill, Cincinnati's oldest saloon, the parade will travel up Main Street to Bockfest Hall and end with the blessing of the bock beer. A keg-pulling goat and the current reigning Sausage Queen traditionally lead the parade.  

Mount Adams is one of the places where the experience of drinking can change one’s life forever ... OK maybe not forever, but at least for the night. I am loyal to this hilly terrain and its magnificent view of Cincinnati for its friendly bartenders and outgoing social atmosphere.
