The Cincinnati Art Museum has announced its fall film series, the first under its own aegis since ending its relationship with Cincinnati World Cinema earlier this year.

The movies will be connected to art exhibits, the current Outside the Ordinary show of contemporary crafts and the upcoming Roaring Tigers and Imperishable Beauty shows.

It will kick off Sept. 4 and 6 with a new documentary, Herb & Dorothy, about two improbable New York collectors of contemporary art. After that, here is the schedule (dates and films are tentative):

Sept. 18 and 20: Russian Ark

Oct. 2 and 4: Magic Flute

Oct. 16 and 18: The Emperor and the Assassin

Nov. 6 and 8: Spirit of the Beehive

Nov. 20 and 22: White Mane and Red Balloon

Dec. 4 and 6: Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon

Dec. 18 & 20: Moulin Rouge
