Lineup Announced for Adjust Your Eyes Fest

An impressive and eclectic roster of local bands will transform an otherwise stark Loveland VFW hall into an artsy, flashy, sorta hippy-ish Rock ‘n’ Roll venue for this year’s third annual Adjust Your Eyes Music and Arts Festival, June 26 and 27. The two-day, two-stage, multimedia extravaganza, which is the brainchild of Grasshopper Juice labelmeister and Wonky Tonk/Chick Pimp band member Nick Mitchell, will feature not only upwards of 28 bands but also art by Jacklyn Howard and CincyStar Glass and stage lights and visualizations by Bunk News.

There’s a good cause involved too: proceeds from the show will go to benefit the American Cancer Society, WAIF 88.3 FM and Friends for Chris Walker.

If all that weren’t enough, Adjust Your Eyes is an all-ages event that offers food vendors and free camping all weekend, and it’s being advertised as dog-friendly to boot. With these kinds of perks, the AYE Fest could rename itself Bonnaroo on a Budget… Two-day tickets are only $20—not bad for the cost of a 20-sack!

Anyway, I’ll get to the point. Here’s the lineup: Rumpke Mountain Boys, Macpodz, Afuche, Happy Maladies, Chick Pimp Coke Dealer at a Bar, Crazy Legs, the Harlequins, Wonky Tonk, the Skeetones, Perfect Norm, DJ Stump, the Sleeping Sea, Little Thousand, Duppy A'Jamba, Lawson Reunion, Bullying Ben Jones, Sohio, Echoes, Daniel Ryan, Flux Capacitors, Headband, Peter Adams, Frontier Folk Nebraska, Ghost Town Trio, Katherine Werner, Miguel Morte Valentine, Stark and Nimo, and Jason Anthony Harris.

The AYE Fest will be held at the Branch Hill VFW Hall (

6653 Epworth Road
in Loveland). For more info and directions, go here.
