Who is IJPC and what do they do? If you’ve ever wondered, here’s your chance to find out.

IJPC is hosting a “Breakfast Benefit” on Jan. 17 at St. Frances de Sales School (1600 Madison Rd. Cincinnati, OH 45206) in the cafeteria, 9-10:30 a.m.

The breakfast is free is has the simple goal of explaining the diverse activities of the coalition.

“We are a coalition of faith-based organizations and individuals who work together to educate around justice issues, take collaborative action and do public witness,” says the event invitation. “We address local, national and international concerns focusing on economic justice, women's issues, human rights, racial equality, peace and the environment.

“Founded in 1985, our goals continue to:

  • deepen awareness of justice as integral, not optional, to our faith response.
  • network participating organizations and to collaborate with other concerned groups for stronger public witness and impact on justice and peace issues.
  • plan and carry out programs of education and action which affect structural injustice.”

Volunteers and community activists involved with various IJPC programs will explain their work. A few of these will be:

Dialogues for Peace and Justice

Advocacy for Peace and Justice

Families That Matter
