Quentin Tarantino’s Django Unchained welcomes its newest addition to the cast, Anthony LaPaglia (Joe from Empire Records). LaPaglia will play Joseph Gordon-Levitt’s brother and the leader of a gang of Austrailan slave escorts. “It’s wildly ambitious and imaginative, deals with that subject matter in a way it hasn’t been dealt with before,” LaPaglia said of the script. “The way the cast has shaped up, it’s exciting to be involved.”

Marcin Leszcynski, his 30-week pregnant wife Nicole and her 2-year-old daughter were put in state custody after they forgot to pay for $5 worth of sandwiches at a grocery store. The two decided they’d eat their snacks while they browsed and simply scan the wrapper at the register later. During their checkout, they forgot to scan the wrappers and were subsequently questioned by security guards before being charged with shoplifting. The couple was released on $50 bail each while their daughter Zofia spent the night with Child Welfare Services.
