What should I be doing instead of this?

All Ashore! Nunsensations is Washed Up

The Showboat Majestic's opening comedy musical, Nunsensations – The Nunsense Las Vegas Revue, might be over the top, but it won't be under water. That's because Cincinnati Landmark Productions will move Showboat's season opener — running May 4-22 — to dry land, staging it at the Covedale Center for the Performing Arts on Cincinnati's West Side. Click here for venue details.

It looks like persistently high water conditions and river levels mean the historic riverboat theatre will be tough for the public to reach (see photo).

Producers do not expect the rest of the season to be affected, so all other productions are still planned for the Showboat stage.

If you have tickets for this show, you can call the Showboat/Covedale box office to confirm your seating arrangements at 513-241-6550. When the Ohio River recedes, the Majestic will offer Neil Simon’s comedy, God’s Favorite, beginning June 1.
