Fine Arts Fund Scores Big

The Fine Arts Fund announced Thursday night that donors gave $11 million for the arts in its annual fundraising campaign, an amount equal to 100 percent of the contributions in 2009.

That met the goal set for this year and is more than any other such campaign in the nation, according to the FAF.

Further, several foundations — including the Carol Ann and Ralph V. Haile, Jr./U.S. Bank Foundation — made additional contributions in special initiative funding to bring the total amount of money netted up to $12.3 million.
