Cincinnati's Guerrilla Queer Bar is about to turn one! That means they're celebrating one whole year of transforming popular straight bars (e.g, Cadillac Ranch, the Pavilion) into a flashmob of "queer dance-love-heaven" for one night, the first Friday of the month.
Organized by local activist and artist Ethan Philbrick, the events are open to anyone who identifies as a queer whether they're gay, straight, dancers, lovers and so on.
If you want to find out more about CGQB's anniversary party, which happens this Friday (March 5), join their Facebook group. You'll receive an e-mail Thursday night revealing the secret bar location. Then rest up and get ready to party all night on Friday.
If you want to learn more about CGQB, listen to our Gay Pride podcast which includes an interview with Philbrick (and commentary by Danny Cross and Alex Weber at CGQB at Cadillac Ranch) here. Or head to the guerrilla's blog here.
